BULLETINS ON RETAIL AND PRESS COVERAGE AND PROGRESS Tuesday 16th June The Book will Be available from SOHO BOOKS on Charing Cross Rd in London's West End and at the Kilburn Book store , Kilburn High Rd , London. From Thursday 18th june the book will be availabe from Movie and Televison Books' in Borehamwood, High St, Borehamwood , Herts From Monday 22nd June the book will be available from FOYLES books on Manette st London W1. West End, London at £11.99 On Friday 19th June Brian met Sweet's Andy Scott who recieved a copy of the book On Saturday 20th June the 100 first list closed with the addition of Wolfgang from Germany . All the books on it have now been dispatched. On Sat 20th June a short documentary was posted about the book on you tube .... sweet biography ..documentary danke./ this includes a message to all the German fans Get Ready To Rock magazine will review the sweet book in mid July and also run a competition on their radio station ( Google get ready to Rock) BBC radio Surrey interveiwed Brian about Mr Connolly and the book on Saturday 11th July at 10 . 15 AM , Presenter Matt was very helpfull and at the end Blockbuster was played. On Tuesday 14th July sales of the book topped TWO HUNDRED copies BBC three counties radio are considering the book on their book club. This should be in Aug. GET READY TO ROCK RADIO is having a competition to win a copy of the book. there is a simple question. (Get ready to rock.com ) From Saturday 18th July the book is stocked at SOHO BOOKS , Brewer Street , London W1, priced 9.99 On friday 31st July the book was reviewed on Three Counties radio, the song Love Is like Oxygen was also played. On Thursday 6th Aug the books sales topped 300 copies. On Wednesday 12 th Aug a reception will be held at the Dragon Hall in Covent Garden to Celebrate the books success. There will be a Brian Connollly tribute show . In September 2009 The book was featured in Good Times magazine in Germany and Classic Rock in the UK . Its sales topped 400 on Oct 2nd In Novembrer sales topped 500 copies In December a talking CD version of the book was issued and sales of the paperback topped 600 copies in 36 countries worldwide. Ritz magazine in Belgium review the book . Book sales top 800 in Feb 2010 |
